Claude Subscription Path

This is the shortest happy path for many operators. If you have Claude Pro or Max, use browser login and get to a first successful prompt before touching advanced settings.

What you need

• Omegon installed
• A git repo or project directory
• Claude Pro or Max access
• A browser available on the same machine

Steps

1. omegon login
2. Choose the Anthropic/Claude path in the login flow
3. Complete browser authentication
4. cd into a project and run omegon
5. Send this prompt: Read README.md and summarize this project in 5 bullets.

Success signal

• You see a normal assistant response, not an auth/provider error
• You see at least one tool card such as read
• The response references your actual repo contents

If it fails

• If browser login succeeds but Omegon still errors, run /auth status
• If the wrong provider appears active, run /model and select the Claude-backed route
• If this guide is wrong or incomplete, file a Setup problem issue and say you followed the Claude subscription path
